Do not mind the sweet Gcarta Atom knife. I am using the picture for double duty. This is the Spelt Lager that I worried about because of mold in the racking cane. The Spelt, IMO, is making it hazy even with biofine. Overall I am happy with this beer. No hops in the way. Bayern is there doing its thing and it is just a good drink beer.

So, one of my other hobbies is knives, mainly folding pocket knives. That one in particular is made from a small company that is in my town located in a building my mother used to work in. I have become friends with the owners, great people, and I get to see lots of new/secret stuff before many. That picture was also posted in the FB group for that knife company. Damn, knives are expensive!

Well... not quite a pint... but... This is one of my sampler bottles (6.8 oz.) of the test brew I did with Viking Pale Ale Malt in a 5 oz. taster glass. Hopped with Centennial (needs more!) Main purpose of this beer was to figure out the Viking Pale Ale Malt and the PicoBrew Manual Brew process. The Viking Malt will be a good "blank canvas" to use as a base malt. It just doesn't bring anything exciting to the table on its own. Color is darker than most pale ale malts.

If having a deliciously crisp and refreshing Jacks Abbey Pils during the “work day” is wrong, then I must be working from home.

Ur-weiss. Missed the spund so low on the fizz. But the wheat/Barke Munich malt base is very pleasing.

3068 for the yeast. I can't keep a weiss cloudy. They all start "hefe" and in a couple of weeks are "krystall". 60/40 wheat/Barke Munich, 15 IBU w/ 60 min addition only. OG 1.052
