Very nice. What are you drinking? I found out earlier that today (April 7) is National Beer Day. It also happens to be 77° and sunny here at the moment and I just got back from a 16-mile bike ride. Beer will be poured here soon. Cheers Poptop.

In honor of National Beer Day I sat in the backyard with a glass of Czech Pilsner... Two different kinds of pilsner, some Munich 2, some firm bitterness from a FWH addition and then a 30-minute addition and then the only real non-Czech part... Diamond yeast. Still. I'm happy with it.

Just trying out the new forum, to see if I could post by cell phone. If it doesn't work, then we know. Just a Schwarzbier I made a while back. Took this picture last weekend. It's just a simple drinking beer, with a touch of roast.

To put a bit of haze in the thread, how about a 13 day old helles? Its barely carbonated, but its tasting good. I do believe I shared the recipe with JayB on the blueboard. Anyone message him yet?

Ooh, that looks nice. Yes it has some haze but you can tell it's on its way to bigger and clearer things. I have a helles in my on-deck fridge that has been lagering for something like 10 weeks. I'm really looking forward to it. Cheers.

I have to repost this one from the old board. It's one of my favorite beer-porn shots of a pale lager that cooperated nicely in the clarity department.

LOL. Drez... what did you do to your thumb??!! drezz has an aversion to apples, and apple gadgets. You missed that one. As stated, I was using an apple corer thingy my wife bought as one of the fundraiser gifts for our kids class. It decided to break apart in my hand and two of the metal "blades" sliced my thumb up. Much better now but that sucked!
