‘22 Barleywine Oooh, careful with that thing. Is it flammable? Are you in any personal danger? Looks beautiful, my friend.

We aren’t all professional beer photographers you know. Yeah, I used 1728 as well. This was my first 60/- and I really have no idea how “true to style” it is. I stole some ideas from Shut Up About Barclay Perkins. Maris Otter, Flaked Corn and a sprinkle of Roasted Barley for color. Nice malty flavors, clean and crushable. It did take a bit of conditioning for the EKG to find a sweet spot though. I really wanted to use Pilgrim but I couldn’t source them in time.

Long, hard day. The weather was nice, so spent a few hours in the garage, waxing the Colorado, and prepping for a brew day. Breaking a 7 week dry spell. This is a clone of Cigar City's Maduro Brown Ale. A little back story; this is the beer I ordered on the first date I had with my soon to be wife- after 41 years on this earth, I'm finally going to be made an honest man. Prost!

Just tapped this this morning after work. Cream Ale with Kolsh yeast. It'll drop clear soon enough. Prost!

Nice. Have a few of those and then challenge the wife to a cannonball contest.

Mammoth Lager -10%. Nice looking beer. Did you get the glass at Ommegang? I plan on getting up there sometime this Summer if I can talk the wife into it. She’ll agree, I’m sure, as long as I also agree to stop at a winery or two. Sacrifices.
