Nice Chils.
This past week with the decent weather I cleaned up the front yard and backyard of leaves, ran the lawnmower on a slightly shorter height and then laid down some winter fertilizer. So I'm officially done with yardwork until the spring. There were some other things I wanted to get to and still might because we have some 50s/60s coming up this week but if not... it can wait.

That's gotta feel good. Congrats. I mulched up and bulldozed my backyard leaves down the holler after messing with trees so I hope I'm done back there. Still have the front yard but it's not too bad.

Wife and I did all the leaves yesterday, so we thought. Last night we have a squall line come through with 40-50 MPH gusts. I will be doing more leaves this week.

I have declared my official last yard work day for the year will be Tuesday. Once edging, trimming, mowing, and blowing is done, I’ll pull the MMM deck off the tractor and install a skid plate. After that it’ll just be cleaning up the MMM, picking up limbs and pushing debris with the front end loader (FEL) until spring.

I'm probably still a couple weeks away from calling the yard done. Yesterday's storm took down a bunch more leaves so there's probably less than 5% left. Usually winterize over Thanksgiving weekend (assuming soil temps are low enough, still getting growth here), vacuum out of the gutters and start getting the fig trees covered for winter.

I was watching that Patriots game last night. Your weather looked BRUTAL. Pouring the entire game and then towards the end the wind kicked up. Here, we started with a bit of rain and that got blown out of here quickly by 50-60 mph winds. I need to go check the greenhouse for damage.
