Spent a bunch of time mower to blower on the leaves today. Tried to lift the pile over my chainlink fence with my loader but it's about a foot low in lift height.

Know what I'm really hating right now? The freaking wind. 35-40 mph winds here the last couple of days. Leaves everywhere.

A neighbor has a contractor putting up siding, and like us and our remodel, has a port-a-pottie for the construction guys. I went out yesterday and the wind tipped theirs over. A blue icicle formed coming out the vent from the top of the roof.

I really need to put in a double gate so I can push them down the back holler with my tractor snowplow. Gotta call my fence guy.

Probably about 50ft deep

I went south 1hr to Rudy/Alma, AR to pick up 3 gates for $50 then hit a surplus store nearby and grabbed a post hole digger for $20. Hit a couple flea markets and picked up a cord reel/light for $6. Picked up some quick cure concrete on the way back. Plan is to put a double gate in my back yard to let me plow leaves down my back holler with the 3240 tractor. Will start with the loader bucket and switch to the snowplow if the bucket won't work well.

I made some progress this weekend. Cleaned up the backyard yesterday and the front today. There aren't many leaves left on trees and it's been warm and dry here so picking up the leaves with the vacuum attachment on the leaf blower was easy. My wife and I were walking yesterday and a guy had this... His approach was simple. Just blow all of the leaves out of his yard into the street and onto his neighbors yard. Seriously. As we walked we watched him send leaves everywhere. I could see this device working well for someone with a ton of leaves but just sending them flying to all other properties or into the street? Come on now.
