I also just found a recipe for white chicken chili. I have had this at restaurants before and it can be very nice. If chili w/beans is enough to send someone off the rails, what will white chicken chili do to them? I made white chili with leftover Thanksgiving turkey one year (with white beans!) It was tasty!

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Sometime when it's cold I'll make it and I'll post the recipe.

Hot diggity, that looks awesome. I went and picked up gyros for my wife and I for dinner tonight. We have been cooking A LOT and we needed a break.

I sautéd some moirpoix + diced potatoes, then made a roux, then a gravy. Deboned the leftover chicken and chopped it up, threw it all in the skillet, added a cpl sprigs of thyme, and topped it with puff pastry. Brushed on an egg wash, baked the whole thing 30 min and *poof* chicken pot pie. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In honor of today being Tuesday, hard-shell chicken tacos are on the dinner menu tonight.
BSCB will get seared, chopped, and then sauteed in Penzey's taco seasoning, to be served with cilantro-lime rice on the side.
Shredded iceberg, shredded cheddar, and hot sauce will be on standby.

I do like me some "Americanized" tacos in the hard shell. Sometimes I just do seasoned ground beef, cheese (let it melt) and maybe some crema supremo and some of Chils' black hot sauce. Enjoy taco Tuesday, B.

This was from the other day... Schnitzel, red cabbage and spaetzel. A little bit of time but worth it!

The wife threw a couple of bone-in chicken breast in a wet batter and fried them up in a pan of oil- so fried chicken. I shredded the chicken with two forks then drizzled some chipotle sauce on it -pretty good for a quick meal

Turkey breast, slathered with melted butter and Italian seasoning, roasted in our new counter-top convection oven (Came out great! Really moist and tender). Mashed potatoes and turkey gravy. Whole kernel corn. King's Hawaiian Rolls. My Vanilla Bourbon Cranberry Sauce. 750ml Boulevard Imperial Red Ale, 9.9% abv. Pumpkin pie with whipped cream for later.
Sliced turkey breast in the fridge for sandwiches. Turkey breast carcass, onions, carrots, and celery simmering on the stove for turkey stock.

FYI, the Boulevard beer was called "Worth the Wait". It's an Imperial Red Ale commemorating the 50 years between Chiefs Super Bowl wins 1969-2019.

It’s snowing in N AL which is unusual. We took the opportunity to make a potato/corn/ham chowder to warm the insides. Of course the Bock served along side helped in that effort as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
