Sweet tractor and weedeater chils. I love the bucket design. I could really use a tractor around here. I have been clearing some land for the past few months. Lots of tree cutting. Stumps is my biggest issue. I can pull anything about 6" or smaller with my uncles Suburban but bigger than that I'm not sure yet. I will probably pay to get some ground. Thank you sir! If you have a sleeve hitch and middlebuster on the back of that Sears you could dig around the stump pretty well. I use a Brinly cultivator on my rear hitch to loosen dirt up before attacking it with the bucket. Sears? It's a Suburban. I will hopefully invest in some equipment come fall.

If that's the GT I'm thinking it is, it's this one. www.tractordata.com/lawn-tractors/001/3/8/1384-sears-suburban-12.html

I've heard good things about that toothbar. Do you have a middlebuster or subsoiler for your 3pt? It is how I loosen packed dirt so I can scoop it if the toothbar won't break it up.

I used it a bunch last year for breaking up roots while a was clearing brush and trees. I have a box blade with scarifiers as well, that works nicely for breaking up larger areas. I have a project this year where I need to cut into the side of a rooty embankment, no way to break it up ahead of time.

Doing a little digging in the dirt today. Loosening it with the cultivator with 95lbs of weights on it then scooping. Filling holes in my field so my mowing is smoother.

Had some issues related to the light construction of my bucket. Swisher used steel that was too thin. Also the rear pivot point wouldn't let me dump into my trailer. I converted a trip dump bucket to hydraulic. I'm fabbing new HD lift arms and moving my bucket pivot point 4" lower and on the front rather than rear of the bucket. Hoping to get 34" of dump height out of it. Cut out and welded new thicker sides on it and thick dump pivot points today and built greasable arms. Still need to do some more fabbing tomorrow on the arms and work out the pivot points.
