I find people's reactions to this hilarious. I've gotten slammed for being unsafe but this is the ultimate "Tim the tool man" tool. Been cutting down a bunch of sumac on my land and found out about these blades intended for this use. If you want to do this then take all the safety precautions you deem necessary. Enjoy.

LOL, Chils. No wonder you're not brewing! Oh, that's just the tip of the iceberg with what I've been up to. Been trying to take my land back after letting sumac take it over for 12 years. Spent the day on the tractor today brushhogging.

I did the same thing and I also bought a blade that had chainsaw teeth on it. Truth is the carbide framers blade worked best. Was great till I snapped the shaft!

I tried 3 different Renegade blades (8" blue 20T, 8" silver 80T, and red 9" 56T) and the blue one in the vid blew the other two away. I have another 9" blue 20T one on the way as I shed a few teeth on the one above after cutting ~1 acre of brush with it and a bunch of tree limbs. I think I cut 5 brushpiles with that one blade.

That's some impressive engineering!

That's some impressive engineering! Just a simple blade mount bought from Amazon. Thing is as close to waving a lightsaber around as it gets. Bad thing about it is you can cut so much brush so fast that you find yourself wading thru what you cut after 10 minutes. I actually trapped myself in waist high brush the first time I used it lol. Closed my path behind me for 50ft.

These are awesome. I put one on my Stihl trimmer a few years back when I had a similar project building trails and taking down wild hazelnut and saplings. You can create a massive amount of brush in no time.

Chils... how much land do you have? 24 acres. It's divided by hollers/ravines. Front yard is a 10 acre field sloping downward with offshoots ~500yds long in a "T" shape. I have another field I can't see that's ~5 acres.
Pic from my upstairs window looking down the front.

Nothing wrong with a compound like that! Sincerely. You could go camping on your own property. Forget something?... "I'll be right back!"

Nothing wrong with a compound like that! Thank you sir! We are at the end of a 1.5 mile long county dirt road with no easement across my land--the end of the road. Top of a hill looking over the national forest bordering the Illinois River. Woods around us and no houses closer than 500yds.
