Planning on making another batch of Belgian IPA a la Houblon Chouffe next week. Cider is fermenting.

Update: I was able to pencil in two brew sessions before the end of the year- brings the total to 15 batches. made 10 gallons of a pale ale, and 5 gallons of a dead guy clone.
long/short- buddy of mine is unable to brew recently because he has his hands full with a newborn/his electric control panel wasn't operating correctly. I took it the panel home and made the repairs. (it mounted on a stand, so its easy to move around). to return the favor, as no homebrewer shouldn't have a empty keezer, gifting him half of the pale ale batch, I haven't made it in a couple years, and he really enjoys the beer- he always asks if I have it on tap.
Cheers, boys.

It's supposed to be in the 50s here Thursday and Friday so I might do a brew session on Friday afternoon. The only question is whether to brew with the blob of Diamond/3470 (mixed) that I have harvested or move on to ales with S-04. I feel like it's been awhile since I brewed. Just checked... 11/26 so over a month. It'll feel good to get back at it.

Wound up with 25 brews and 26 beers in 2022, a mix of 3 gallon and 5 gallon batches. A new high in a year for me. 26 beers because I split a batch of Schwarzbier, putting half of it on bourbon barrel oak chips. Just tapped that recently, and I am flabbergasted that I never thought to do that with a Schwarzbier before, it was so freaking tasty!
