I was passing time, and went of Netflix last night. watched "Goodfellas" for the first time in a few years. I'm not a big gangster movie guy, but this is a classic; and one of Scorsese's best. one of those movies that everything lined up; great casting, writing, cinematography, soundtrack, and based on a true story.
"The Sopranos" took this as a baseline, and ran with it.
I'll share my favorite scene.
so, what is some of your favorite films/scenes?

I have a few where if I'm surfing and I run across one of them, I pretty much throw the remote away. Jaws. Shawshank Redemption. Rain Man. Wall Street. The second tier (Basically the Tom Hanks level): Castaway, The Burbs, Big, Joe Versus the Volcano. I'm sure I'm forgetting some but those come to mind.

Mmm, funny. I had visions of some scenes in The Princess Bride over the weekend and I watched it on Amazon Prime. My son came downstairs and did a double-take when he looked at the screen but to his credit he knew it... You're watching Princess Bride?
