Got a new (to me) grill. My old Spirit was on its last legs. I wasn't actively looking for a new grill but I searched Facebook Marketplace because some guys on the Brew board recently did. Wow, I scored. $100 for an excellent condition Weber Genesis. Super clean. At least 10 years old but in awesome condition.

It works as a Weber should. I grilled wings and portobellas yesterday then cranked it up - it got to just under 675. It is in crazy good shape for its age.

That a nice grill! I have been a Weber man for four decades. I have two smokers and two grills. All charcoal though.
Cheers! 🍻

I reheated some pizza on it yesterday. Don't know why I did it but it turned out great!

I reheated some pizza on it yesterday. Don't know why I did it but it turned out great! That’s a great idea! I never would have thought of it. Do you have a pizza stone or what? I also have two Webers; a gas grill and smoker. Because of BrewBama’s endorsement I have a Weber Smokey Mountain. I love both of them, but due to my job and running I have been too tired to smoke meat lately. My two sons are home for the summer, maybe for the last time, so I need to get the Pulled Pork and Brisket on.

I also have a Smoky Mountain, and a Blackstone but I just figured I'd try it out on my new to me grill. Indirect heat to about 400 - excellent.
Oh, didn't read your entire post. I cook my pizza in an Ooni. Awesome pizza oven. 2 of my friends who have had my pizza bought one. Great pizza oven. When reheating, I just throw it on the hot grill.

I found this by the side of the road. I picked it up and brought it home. The gas manifold system is in great shape so I replaced the guts and cleaned it up. It’s a fantastic grill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Weber Genesis grills are nice. I bought one in 2014 (I think) and it just kept grilling and looking great. I liked how I could take everything apart and use the pressure washer to clean it if it needed it. In my new place I needed something smaller. I have a BGE but I can't use it on the balcony so I bought this Monument 2-burner grill... I have made grilled chicken, shrimp, skewers, skirt steak, burgers, etc. on it and it's really nice for $299 on Amazon. And no, I don't use it in my kitchen.
