I took delivery of one last week, plus his floating dip tube set-up. Both look well-built and designed. I'm using the FLOTit in my 10G corny fermenter now so no actual experience with it yet. Have you sized your hose yet to fit the 10g Torpedo? On mine, I left it long enough so that the float almost touches the "gas in" side of the keg. I get all of the beer without trub.

To clarify, long enough where the hose rests on the bottom and extends to the "gas side". An L shape, if you will.

Yeah, Trong sent me the longer hose (30" I believe) to account for the larger 10g keg. I had to trim off a couple inches to get the proper "L" shape. My beer is still fermenting (6# mixed berries added 5 days ago) so I've not test driven the system yet.

I just ordered two of the Picnic Tap 2.0s. I’ll report back. I’m very curious about people saying no foam. Hopefully I get some foam You get foam, but not excess foam. Zero dripping. Have you trimmed the plastic piece inside the QD? I got my 2.0’s. On the first day there was foamy head and a decent pour rate. A day later the 2.0 is fridge temp and the pour has slowed a lot. It is quite slow. No foam to speak of. I’m thinking of trimming that plastic flow reducer.

I did not trim mine. Seemed good. But when I used it the most, it was a party, I had 2 going and it was a mass audience. Maybe a trim might help if those cared about the "finer" things about beer. But it was a drunkfest.

Trong did mention that you can trim it as desired, tho.

I will trim one and see what happens. I bought two taps. He sent 4 flow reducers.
PS. I had one working tap and one that was all foam. I could not figure out what was wrong with the second one. It turns out the keg was empty!

Funny thing is years ago, I remember somebody posted a part on McMaster where you could reduce foam from the keg with a squiggly plastic piece. You would put 2-3 pieces in your out line. Looks the same as Trong's. I actually bought a few feet but that's when I took my hiatus. I bet I still have some of that shit here now.

I remember them...I believe that they were designed to equally mix 2 part epoxy but when put in the liquid out dip tube, they slowed the pour down enough to get by with a shorter hose.

I drew a sample off yesterday and it poured clear from the 1st drop, so this FLOTit has been a success so far.
