On a whim I ordered some curry powder and I have no idea what to make with it. I have not had a curry or Indian food so it will need to be something that is on the basic level. Hit me with some ideas.

I guess chicken curry would be an easy introduction to Indian food. Here's a recipe but I haven't tried it. I like my Indian food on the wild side myself -fiery goat (or lamb) vindaloo. www.allrecipes.com/recipe/46822/indian-chicken-curry-ii/Or, you could make a curry sauce for British fish and chips. I slather it on both.

I remember Anthony Bourdain being in India on one of his shows PARTS UNKNOWN. The first stop was a place with veggies and spice and the bread/pita cooked in a tandoori. Everything looked so good. Then he mentioned that he needed some meat and they went to a tandoori chicken place and it looked awesome. No idea if curry came into play but it seems probable. Drez, you need to build a tandoori in your yard first!

Thanks guys. I am sure I would like the spicy options but my wife and kids are not keen on the heat!
Ken, I do not need any more projects.. Heads to Google to research... Lol

You know, I got a BGE for Christmas... Maybe I could turn it into a big tandoori!

I moved the BGE talk over to the kitchen. For anyone here who has used one or has any tips or other sorcery, please contribute over there. I'm trying to go to school on other people's experiences. Cheers and thanks. Let the curry discussion continue... Drez! Did you get that curry yet?!?!?
