Muh Rights!
We are fluctuating from 20s to 50s here in NW AR. Had an inch of snow over the weekend that has melted off. Covid deaths up 10/day to 38. Idiots still entering stores in their masks and then pulling them off.

It appears that my son's girlfriend has brought the Rona home from work. They have both tested positive. She was supposed to go home to see her family in Dallas and my son was supposed to come here but no longer. It would have been harder had one of them been positive and the other negative so at least they can be together. She had symptoms and now says she feels close to back-to-normal. That took about 10 days. My son says he feels mildly achy but otherwise fine. Also, my niece and her husband (in their late 20s) were with someone on Tuesday of this week who tested positive on Wednesday. So they will not be going home to their family over Christmas either. Still... compared to what some people are going through this is nothing to complain about. Be smart, wash your hands, wear a mask, social distance, don't go anywhere if you don't have to. And yes, when I typed MASK in that last sentence I typed MASH first.

Just heard about a 31 y/o (co-worker's friend) with a blood clot in her leg after recovery.

The only other thing that has me mildly twitchy is the random post-covid issues that have been seen. If they both get past the symptoms and recover fully then I'll consider them among the majority of cases. But these things that pop up months later or just persist for weeks or months... that's scary.
