My main machine is an HP notebook with Windows 10 and I am using the W10 "MAIL" client as my main email app. It has been doing TWO things that are killing me. One is that it suddenly stops auto-synching. In the morning I get emails every 10-15 minutes or whatever and then all of a sudden I get no emails for 2-3 hours. I hit SYNC and they come flooding in. That's not good for what I do for a living. If I restart the PC, it works again but not for long. It also sends perfectly legit emails to junk. These are work emails that I mark NOT JUNK but still... some go to junk while others get through. Also, all of the Nigerian prince emails come through. I can deal with that but I can't deal with real emails going to junk. I picked up Outlook but ran into all kinds of issues including not being able to import my contacts so I junked that. This morning I did some homework and I see that many sites recommend MAILBIRD. So I downloaded it and installed it. I entered my two email addresses (one Comcast, one Gmail) and it did the rest. It went out to the servers and pulled in all my emails and it found my contacts and brought those over too. For anyone having this issue, give it a try. Ps. I had Microsoft on a chat and the guy did a couple things and asked me to watch to see how it goes. He said that if it happened again (which it did), I needed to delete my Comcast account from the client and set it back up again. I did that and it worked for about 5 days but then started doing it again. I hate things that don't work. It makes me shake my fists at the sky.

Too techie for me to read... or care. Sorry Ken. You lost me at "I am using the W10 "MAIL" client as my main email app". Sorry. Windows 10. Microsoft has a product called MAIL that allows you to manage your email. It's supposed to automatically grab my incoming emails and alert me. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I can't have people saying, "Hey, did you get my email?!" and when I look it's not there but then I manually "pull" my emails and here they come. No, sir. That will not work. I know it's nothing I did because it sometimes works. Then sending legit emails to junk? That was the icing on the cake. This Mailbird email client is working beautifully. I hope that made more sense. IOW, Microsoft's email client on W10 sucks!
