I had a pork butt and some short ribs that I had to save after losing power last week. Looks like a good, HOT, day to fire up the smoker.

I don't know man... more pics may be necessary! For science right! I will see what I can do. I will say that the thermoworks Smoke and wifi gateway are amazing. I can sit in my cellar and monitor the temps with no issues. I also added no wood to the fire today. Just straight charcoal.

Nice. I have some family coming for a visit later in the week and I plan to get some ribs smoking too. Drez, your backyard looks like the depths of Wisconsin... just ask Deerslyr!

Never been to Wi but I will take it. I like my backyard. It is hard to believe there is a house back there. I have a really private yard and the kids have a nice area to play.

I've never done short ribs! It's on the agenda at some point though. A kitchen would be nice.
And yes... looks a lot like Wisconsin! And in particular, my own backyard!

I was not planning on doing them but I had them and if not they would be wasted. I would season more next time but overall I was happy with the ribs.
