Yeah... we've done similar. Our Air Fryer and Microwave are in our 4 Season Room. Small table set up in there. Fridge is in the Family Room. Shelving units with canned goods, etc. are also in there. Just no adequate prep space for the type of cooking I'd "like" to do. KWIM?
Yeah... it will be worth it for sure!

Don't forget the grill. I didn't have my Genesis at that point but between the grill and also the side burner, I could have made some pretty complete dinners out there. Of course, our kitchen remodel started in February so it *would not* have been perfect but it would have helped for sure.

If a turkey fryer is available, that could be used like a burner on a gas range to cook over, or to boil water for pasta.
A slow-cooker could be used to warm up marinara sauce, and if time permits, to make baked potatoes (ties up the slow-cooker all day, but it's an option).
And as Ken said, the grill is a handy option to deploy.

Yeah, I forgot about slow-cookers, Instapots, your so-called "crock pots"... those could come in really handy for someone who was having their kitchen redone.

Remodel

Oh I have ingenuity... just no space to really prep.
I did get a good hardwood fire going in the fire pit one afternoon, burned it down to coals and then fried some bacon in a dutch oven for salad, then cooked some stuffed mushrooms in the dutch oven, tossed some sweet corn that had been soaking in water directly on coals, and then made some Eisenhower Dirty Steaks on the rest of the coals. I'm ok on weekends when I've got time to figure stuff out, but weeknights... we just have no motivation to really try.

Remodel

Some progress being made. They are going to put in trim and case in areas that won't have cabinets. Sliding barn doors will go in as well. All of that millwork was just delivered. So hopefully more progress to be made this week in the absence of cabinetry.
