Saber champagne trick. I wouldn't want the risk of a broken glass shard scraping my colon.

I did this once years ago while camping to a 750ml bottle. I cut the top of my knuckle pretty good. Probably needed stitches. Yes I was drunk and no glass shards drank. But never again.

I worked with a guy that could use anything as a bottle opener. It became a challenge. Point to a stapler, he would grab the stapler, wrap his thumb around the neck and stick the stapler between his thumb and the bottle cap, flip of the wrist and the beer was open.
No matter what we have him, he always opened the beer.
I tried it more than a couple times, I hurt my thumb.

I carry one of these on my keychain: Also, a Swiss Army Knife. I could see me trying the saber thing... Blood, glass, beer, maybe even fingers... all over the place!

Do you really need to tap the bottle to break the top off with a knife? Seems like the knife would do just fine without any pomp and circumstance.

And who needs these tricks with cans so popular now. You should make a YT video titled "OPENING A BEER WITH A KNIFE LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN" then the video is just lifting the tab on the can with a butter knife.
