Daaang. Do NOT spray them with the Bifen mix. It is not an instant knockdown pesticide. I mowed yesterday and saw 2 wasps total in the grass. I put the hurt on them out here

There's no way I can come even close to reaching where that nest is. The pic was taken through binoculars.

The guy two doors down keeps bees, I bet they "escaped" one of his hives.

I saw a swarm a couple of years ago- one of the coolest "live nature" things I ever experienced. They hung out on the neighbor's pine tree for a few hours then revved up and took flight. I guess the scouts found a suitable home.

My GF was filming them this morning for her class, she teaches Montessori, and as she was filming they all took off. It was pretty cool. I think she's posting the video to YouTube, I'll post it when she does.

They were scared of the 24/7 stove.
Cool tho that it was captured on video them just up and leaving.

I know, it was pure coincidence. Perfect timing.

I told her to change the title of the video to "We had a MASSIVE HONEY BEE SWARM in our tree...you won't believe what happened next!"

I just got done spraying for weeds and bugs around the house. Mixed up Bifen XTS and sprayed the foundation block, crawlspace vents, around all doors and windows, inside floor and ceiling perimeters of wellhouse and garage, and outside edges of siding on the wellhouse and bottom of my house. Just got out of the shower, was drenched in sweat after doing that in rubber boots, nitrile gloves, and N-95 mask. Whew!
My early spring treatment for wasps is still effective. I haven't seen >6 wasps all summer. I decimated them.
I did move my zapper to my garage by the kitchen door as it terrified my chihuahua inside the house. It has stopped gnats from getting in the house around that door. Dog is scared to go in the garage now.
Has anyone else had success with my wasp treatment?

I bought the treatment but never used it. We've been pretty wasp/hornet free this year, as far as I can tell. I was spending a lot of time outside in the spring and I was killing a lot of them that appeared to be trying to nest. I may have done enough to keep them at bay, or i just haven't found where they are nesting yet . I haven't been working outside for the last month because July. They may have found some spots to nest that i haven't picked up on.
