Started in Boston MA too. I watched a lot of Braves games back in the heyday of the 90's because of TBS. Half the time they were the only games I could find on.

They were the Milwaukee Braves too.
Baseball is full of stories like that where the Athletics were in Philadelphia or the Cubs were known as the Orphans, etc. Seattle Pilots, Houston Colt 45s, Boston Beaneaters, St. Louis Browns, Boston Red Caps, Cleveland Broncos, Sioux City Cornhuskers, Brooklyn Bridegrooms and all sorts of shizzle.

Don't forget the Giants absconding off to Cali!
Was just talking to my son about sports teams (not just baseball) that have moved over the years... I mean seriously... when was Salt Lake City ever known for their jazz???
I hated the Braves back in the 90's.

I mean seriously... when was Salt Lake City ever known for their jazz??? I hated the Braves back in the 90's. It's been called the "Geographically incorrect NBA" for awhile now. LA Lakers started in Minnesota. New Orleans Jazz went to Utah where they could have renamed the team. I think that's where the "Flint Tropics" came from in Semi-Pro.
