I just read that they’re now talking about a booster — a third Maderna shot in the Fall. 🤦♂️ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Don’t panic. Lots of vaccinations require annual boosters. By booster time the pandemic should largely be under control (much lower new case counts, hospitalization rate, and deaths). Also, by then the supply chain should be much more normalized and shots should be much easier to get (on par with the flu shot). My personal prediction is that the boosters will be semi-optional like the flu shot. I will get it but not everyone will. By then, preventing Covid will be a true personal responsibility issue rather than a public health and economic issue.

You know that feeling where you've had a couple beers and start losing interest in fine details? That's how I've felt for 2 days. But without the beers. Clearly you need some beers. I'm going to assume that with a 1-shot gig you're getting it all at once and you could be experiencing the symptoms that many people have after the 2nd shot of Pfizer or Moderna. I get my 2nd shot of Pfizer on 4/30 and it's about a 40-minute ride so I hope I don't fall asleep or have convulsions while I'm driving home. Feel better Seven. if yopu're going to have side effects from the second shot, the onset seems to be about 12 to 24 hours post shot, so the drive home will be fine.

I worked at a vax site for a couple months, and it seemed the younger you were, the more likely side effects were going to happen after the second shot. I was sick as a dog for 12 hours after the second shot. Also, alot of people that have already had covid would be sick after the first shot, but not the second. By far the most dangerous thing about the vaccine is the parking lot of the vax site, considering we were vaccinating seniors at the time and many of them are terrible drivers. LOL. Side effects can include nausea, gastro-intenstinal distress, headaches and a trip to your local body shop and an insurance claim. haha, this is so true. Our Vax site was set up so that people coming for the shot went through eligibility and did the paperwork with me outside, and you only went inside to actually get the shot, so I had a full view of the elderly drivers playing bumper cars in our parking lot.

I got the J&J shot on Monday and I've been having issues mentally focusing for the past 2 days. Thankfully, I don't have to drive anywhere but a work video presentation today was hard to get through. from what the health pros have told me, its hard work for our bodies to make antibodies, so this kinda stuff is normal and temporary.
