I feel like "bready" could be a good descriptor of Munich 2.

Boy, thatâs an ugly can! The beer is pretty good though. Iâm guessing Spalt hops.

That looks like one of the few where the can label is a sticker instead of it being printed right on the can.

If you want your can to be recognizable among all the other choices, that design will do it. Wow!

Got my Advent Calendar yesterday. Not quite sure how I'll attack it, yet.

Schnitzlbaumer Lagerbier Hell tonight. Good Helles. I picked it because the label has the checkered pattern of Oktoberfest. This quote from the BJCP style guidelines for Munich Helles describes the beer well. âModerately malty start with the suggestion of sweetness, moderate grainy-sweet malt flavor with a soft, rounded palate impression, supported by a low to medium-low hop bitterness.â

This one is a Märzen. Iâm not good with descriptions. Sweeter more malty with not much bitterness. Iâm more of a Pilsner guy. I like more bitter punch. But, this is a nice beer. No complaints. I like the hussar on the can.

They both look good. The helles looks particularly good.

Wiener Lager. The app explains this is a Vienna Lager. Slightly sweet. Clean. Medium bitterness. Not what I was expecting from a Vienna Lager. Very light colored. More flavorful and more complex than a Pils or Helles but it is hard to describe the exact flavor. Why do these German beers hit me harder than my own homebrew? I feel light head half way through the can.

I remember Weiner Lager being one of my favorites last year. I like the distinctive can design, too.
I don't know about half-way through, but I do notice a bit of a buzz afterwards comparing my typical 12 oz. serving and these half liters (16.9 oz.)

Yeah, that looks pale for a Vienna but it looks good and who are we to question? Looks like it has nice clarity too.

Yes. That is interesting. Maybe they ran out and the head brewer was like âCan the Kellerbier! Itâs going to America. Theyâll never know.â
