They are not available in my Costco yet, but yesterday, somebody posted this picture of the back of the box on r/Costco on Reddit: Can't wait for them to arrive at my Costco!

Aha! Get this... a bowling bud texted me over the weekend to say he found these again and asked if I wanted one. Yes, please! He's bringing it to bowling tonight. $70. Can I ask if anyone knows... are these beers real German beers? The can designs and the names seem very similar, plain and made-up. I realize there are twelve breweries on every corner of every intersection in Germany but I don't feel like I have heard of ANY of these beers before. I'm looking forward to picking up this box tonight. Cheers.

I bought the pack yesterday (actually my wife brought it for me).
The can I drank tonight said it was brewed in Germany. But, it may have been contract brewed. I don’t mind that if the beers are good.
PS. I am starting advent early and I am going out of order because placement of cans in the box didn’t seem to match the order of the pictures on the box.

I looked at several of the cans. They are from different breweries in different locations in Germany. So, I think they are real German beers.

It's freaking big. I probably won't follow any advent anything... I'm just going to find a group of them that sound good and throw them in the fridge and work through them. Let's compare notes like Jim did last year.

If you look at my posts from last December, I listed the brewery and the city in Germany of each beer. I also visited the websites of some of the breweries. These are legit German beers. I think some of them may be contract brewed, but still in Germany. There was nothing in last years box that I really didn't like (except maybe the Rauchbier!) I do see some repeats in this box, but there are some different beers, too. Guess I'm gonna have to start hitting my Costco regularly until these show up! brewbrothers.freeforums.net/thread/642/brewers-advent-calendar

They are German brewed beers or at least they were when I got it a couple of years ago. I will be honest and say the novelty was fun but I did not think the beers were the best and a few of them are styles I would never drink.... Looking at you wheat beers!

Yeah, the hefeweizens will not be popular here. Maybe I'll find someone who likes them.

One thing I did notice was the sauergut profile.

One thing I did notice was the sauergut profile. Any specific beer that had it? I'll be on the lookout for it. I generally don't mind it but sometimes it can be assertive and starts taking away from the overall experience.

I drank the Perlenzauber German Pale Ale first. I wanted to get it out of the way before diving into the Helles and Pilsners which are why I wanted the pack.
It was okay. It had a floral hop flavor with a caramel sweetness. I got tired of it by the end.

It's funny because I have had experiences where I had some beer that I thought was going to be stellar and it was a disappointment. Was it old or mishandled? Maybe. One of my favorite beers on a trip to central Europe was Ottakringer which is brewed in Vienna. I found a four pack of tall cans of Ottakringer Vienna Lager at my local bottle shop and I did not have in Austria when I was there. It was pretty dreadful. Cloudy, a little too sweet, clunky in the finish, kind of estery. Really surprising and disappointing. I expect some of these to be this way. I'll be interested to compare notes and see which of these are mentioned by some of us as the better beers.

This beer is supposed to have the 4 best hops from Bavaria. It’s okay. But, I was pretty excited by that description. The beer doesn’t live up to it. It’s also cloudy.

I get a kick out of some of the names. Perlen = pearls. Zauber = magic. Magic Pearls bier. 😂
