I like to plan ahead with brewing. So, what's your plans for '22?
My goals are to focus more on lagers- helles, American pilsner, and German style brews, as well fine tune NEIPAs and session brews.
What says the board?

To get my brewery up and running in my new place. I have everything I need and I am working on my "pub area" right now. One reason I bought the place I did was that there is plenty of room to brew and serve beer and everything I need is in place including water in the 2-car garage. I intentionally dwindled-down my ingredients so I have specialty malts and about a half bag of GW 2-row. I could use some yeast but I do have a packet of Diamond that hasn't reached its date so I could use that. Once I start brewing here it will be more of the same... lagers all spring and summer (lots of what Lefty mentioned), ales in the fall, etc. I need to organize my garage a little better too. But I do have 8 kegs of beer currently in fridges here so as soon as the draft system is in place, beer will flow.

Not much planning for me. I just killed a Tripel, so I'll brew one soon. I'm also about to add a third tap to one of my kegerators. So, I'll address that with either a pilsner or hoppy Kveik.

Here’s my plan for ‘22. The list is fairly close to the same as ‘21 but i have simplified and differentiated between recipes.

No real plans other than to start using the 4 bags of Crisp Heritage malts I've got.

Just finished up the 1st brew of '22. A recipe I've done a couple times last year- it's a big crowd pleaser at brew club meetings. It's a APA with a boatload of hops.
12.5# crisp MO, 1# wheat and 1# vienna is the grain bill. A pinch of Horizon at FWH and 60 minutes, a dash a simcoe at 30, and 2 oz each of El Dorado and Mosaic at flame out- followed by 2 oz each of Sabro and Mosaic for a dry hop addition. Fermented with Imperial's A38 (Boddingtons)
Clocks in a little over 6%, and had become a favorite over the last year.
Cheers!

That does sound nice, Lefty. Inspiration for us all. Alas, it's 8° here today and I wouldn't brew even if I were ready.

With my draft beer flowing again I turned my mind towards brewing. I have a small amount of GW 2-row left here along with plenty of Vienna, Munich, Wheat and specialties. I also have a bunch of hops. Last night I ordered a 55-pound sack of Montana Craft Pilsner malt ($44) and a packet of WLP940. Has anyone used this Montana malt? I believe this is the first time I'm using it. I think I have some DME so this would be my first starter and then my first batch in my new place. I'll make some gold lagers, hoppier amber lagers and then some smooth dark lagers as well. One issue is that I believe my fermentation fridge is going to have to be in my garage. I hung a thermometer in there just to keep track of how warm the garage stays in the winter. It's been cold here but the garage has been a steady 45-50° so I don't think I'll have any temp issues although the low temp for 940 is 50° so I may need to be alert on that. I have 8 kegs which were completely or partially full: APA, Cabana Lager, MLPA, Dark Lager, a gold lager w/Edelweiss, a Vienna Lager, an American Pub Ale and a Helles. I was partway through my ales when I moved and I tossed out my 1056 which is good. I would have had a hell of time keeping it viable. On an upcoming weekend I'll look for decent weather and then make my first attempt in my new place. Cheers gentlemen.

First one out of the gate is going to be a Belgian Blonde with copious amounts of Cashmere and Sabro, just because I want to. Then I am going to make at least one C Hop IPA or Pale Ale. After that, my current plan is to Lager the crap out of 2022. We'll see how it goes because my tastes change so frequently. But I want to continue learning Lager.

Just the usual old man stuff. Knees are going and I blew out a hamstring an ACL trying to compensate. Could hardly walk for a couple months. Did PT and it's getting better, but if I kneel down I still can't get back up without something to hold onto. Pain is down so I can kinda sleep again. Blood pressure meds got inadvertently changed which cause BP so high I was nearly hospitalized before they figured it out. That's getting back to normal now, but residual side effects.
