Strangely, my wife now has half of my taps dedicated to her beers! The White Stout is another "Shannon" beer but I don't mind some from time to time.

If your wife asks for beer and then drinks them when you make them, that's the best thing that could happen. Mine asks me to make her something and when I do she tells me she's doing "whole 30" or it's "dry January" or something. Either that or she tells me that in 2 days one of her friends will be here and she really likes Pumpkin Beer... do you have any pumpkin beer on tap for her? No.

The only problem with my wife is that she also likes wine and bourbon! She will sometimes neglect beer in lieu of wine and bourbon for weeks, clogging my kegs!

I think this pic shows a more accurate color...

The cold will slow down fermentation but probably won't completely stop it. A lot of breweries found this out recently with exploding cans. Your keg won't explode but you may find the beer getting less sweet and more carbonated as time goes by. Was thinking about this tonight. The cans were probably at room temp for a while. My keg should never go above 38 or so. I think it's good. Had one tonight and it's the same. My wife had about 3!

Also, this was Philly Sour yeast, not a traditional souring process.

Wow, kudos to my wife for emptying the keg of White Stout. I had some but she drank roughly 75%. I made the mistake of having her sample the Baltic Porter today. She really likes it. I would rather her focus on the Concord Grape Sour before moving on to the BP.

Take the tap apart and tell her you have to clean it. 😉
(*a process that takes at least 7-10 business days)
